Do I need an app or an account?
No. Scan the QR code or open the link, and the event page opens in your phone’s browser. Tap the upload button and pick your photos and videos.
Which files can I upload?
Photos in JPG, PNG, WEBP or HEIC, and videos in MP4, MOV or WEBM, up to 250 MB each. That’s about 2 minutes of 1080p video on most Android phones and 4 minutes on an iPhone; 4K video fills it faster. You can pick up to 50 files at once.
Is the quality reduced?
No. Your files are kept exactly as you send them. The page shows small previews so the gallery loads quickly, and the hosts can download the originals.
Who can see what I upload?
Everyone who has the event’s link can see the gallery, and the hosts can download and delete any file. Premium events can be protected with a PIN that the hosts share with their guests.
Do my photos include where they were taken?
Photos keep the details your phone stores in them, which can include the location if your camera saves it. The small previews in the gallery leave these details out, but the original files the hosts download keep them. To leave the location out, turn off location for your camera before taking photos.
I uploaded something by mistake. How do I remove it?
Ask the hosts: they can delete any file from their dashboard. You can also write to us with the event’s link and a description of the file.
For hosts
How do I create my event?
Start a free draft with your event’s name, the hosts’ names, the date, the template and the language. Your event page, its QR code and your private dashboard appear right in your browser. When your page is ready, choose a plan in your dashboard and go live.
Can I try it before I pay?
Yes. A draft is free for 14 days, with no card and no email needed. Every design option is open: change the texts, template, colours, fonts and sections, and watch your page update in a live preview. You can scan its QR code and test up to 20 uploads from your phone. When you go live, the test uploads are deleted, your dashboard tells you which plan your page needs, and your plan starts. A draft that doesn’t go live is deleted after 14 days.
Can I change the look of my page later?
Yes. You can switch between the templates at any time from your dashboard: all eight are in every plan, and so are the seasonal themes (such as Halloween and Christmas) while they’re offered. On Standard and Premium you can also choose the colours and upload a banner photo and a background photo. On Premium you can also pick the fonts and add up to six sections, such as a programme, a few words for your guests or a link to your playlist.
Which languages can my page be in?
English, French or German. You choose when you order, and you can change it at any time from your dashboard. It covers everything Toloma writes: the guest page, the printable signs and your dashboard. Your own texts, such as the welcome message and sections, stay as you wrote them.
How much storage do I need?
Photos take little room; videos fill it. A 100-guest party typically uploads 4–6 GB. Basic (5 GB) holds about 1,700 photos or 40 minutes of video, Standard (15 GB) about 5,000 photos or 2 hours, and Premium (25 GB) about 8,500 photos or 3 hours.
What happens when the storage is full?
Guests see that the event’s storage is full and can’t upload more. Your dashboard shows how much is used. You can add 5 GB (€8), 10 GB (€15) or 25 GB (€25) at any time: write to us and we’ll add it to your event.
How long are our photos kept?
Counted from the event date: 30 days on Basic, 3 months on Standard and 12 months on Premium. Guests can upload until then. You then have 7 more days to download everything, after which the files are permanently deleted. Your dashboard always shows the date, and you can extend by 3 or 12 months.
How do I download everything?
On Standard and Premium, your dashboard prepares a ZIP of all the original files, split into parts of up to 4 GB for very large events. The download link stays valid for 7 days. On Basic, you can open and save files one by one.
Can I delete photos?
Yes, any file, at any time, from your dashboard. Deleted files disappear from the gallery straight away.
What is the access PIN?
On Premium, you can set a PIN of 4 to 12 letters or digits. Guests must enter it before they can upload or see the gallery. Your QR signs then remind guests to ask you for it.
What are the printable signs?
On Premium, your dashboard creates print-ready signs with your event’s name and QR code: an A4 poster, four A6 table cards per page, or twelve 6 cm square stickers per page.
Can you design a page just for our event?
Yes. Send us what you have in mind by email (layout, colours, fonts, examples you like) and we’ll reply with a quote. Custom design works with any plan.
I lost the link to my dashboard.
Write to us from the address you used to order. We’ll send you a new link, and the old one stops working.
Payment
How do I pay?
Once, per event, through Stripe’s secure checkout: Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Google Pay or Wero. There is no subscription, and nothing is ever charged automatically. The prices shown are final.
Can I get a refund?
Yes: if you change your mind within 14 days of paying and no guest has uploaded anything yet, write to us for a full refund. The details are in our terms.
Do you work with companies and agencies?
Yes: your logo and colours, recurring events and a single invoice. Write to us at contact@toloma.app with what you need.
